Model VR-2030 - 64U - 64U Vertical Equipment Rack

The design intent of this particular vertical equipment rack was to maximize the DVR recording capacity in locations where floor space is limited or at a premium.  The one hundred and twelve inches of uninhibited overall vertical opening is the only rack of its kind in the industry.

These units typically hold up to thirty percent more electronic equipment than the standard 50U rack systems.  The major requirement for these racks to perform is a minimum ceiling height of eleven feet (132 inches).  Granted, the application of this unit is not suitable for most room locations.  However, if the opportunity arises where ceiling height is not an issue but room capacity is, the SMS 64U vertical racks are second to none.

The 64U racks are constructed with 14 gauge steel and powder coated with a black textured finish.  The structural frames are assembled and shipped separate from the doors and optional accessories.
